Tamron

Tamron is a well respected 3rd party optics company. Founded in 1950, they currently have a partnership with Sony to produce some of the Sony Alpha lenses. Some of Tamron's most popular lenses are the 17-35/2.8-4, 28-75/2.8, 90/2.8 macro and others.

The Spider once owned the Tamron 14/2.8 rectilinear. It is really an amazing - it has a flare problem - but a full frame 14mm perspective is something to behold. You can see it in the header of this site, if you go to the front page.
