The Sigma 100-300mm f4 is one of the Spider's favorites. Excellent range with very reasonable low light capability. It might be a little short for dedicated bird photographers, but its a gem for others who want superb image quality, range and larger aperture than the run of the mill f4.5/5.6/6.5 etc zooms. Its a bit heavy but for its capabilities reasonable. For what it can do this is a real bargain lens.
