Nikon F5
The F5 was produced from 1996 to 2005. Whereas the F4 was a transition between the old cameras and new technology, the F5 is solidly in the "modern" camera world. With 3-D color matrix metering, electronically controlled shutter (up to 30 mins and down to 1/8000 sec), powerful built in motor drive, support for lenses with AF-S and stabilization,, dynamic auto-focus mode - whew this is no mechanical F!
