Nikon F2
The F2 set the Nikon F "single digit" range as the pro level camera bodies. This number system continues today. The F2 has a nice ~9 year run from 1971 to 1980. The F2 major improvement (at least for some) was the much simpler film loading door. It had a faster shutter and was a more flexible system with various viewfinder options an motor drive. Another classic Nikon that is perfectly usable today.
