Lomo LC-A
This is a wonderful little plastic, rangerfinder-like 35mm film camera. It enjoys a world-wide cult following. It features a reasonably fast, good quality lens, excellent long exposure light metering and for some reason inspires "fun" photography.
Lomo shooters will encourage you to load up a cheap roll of 400 ISO film and rapidly shoot it up without taking what you are doing too seriously (viewfinder optional). The Spider loves the LC-A and has a lot of poorly framed prints to prove it. Top spider recommendation!

The Lomo LC-A is a special little camera. It has a unique combination of features and handling that leads the photographer into taking unique photos. The Lomo credo is to be quick - see it and shoot it. The Lomo LC-A inspires spontaneous photography.
This camera is subtle. It is small and light so it comfortably slips into a pocket. The shutter is also quiet (rangefinder). The way it fits into your hand gives you the freedom to shoot from positions that most other cameras will not. Just pull the camera out, flick the shutter open and shoot. Many Lomo shooters don't even bother to look through the finder. *Use the force young Boris!*
The Lomo's best 2 features are its good lens and awesome low light capabilities. The wide angle lens lets you shoot from the hip (or where ever). No problem taking pictures in completely dark (with a steady hand).
